Komorebi

Directed, choreographed, and produced by Navaji David Nava; Komorebi was inspired by Navaji’s growing relationship with the natural world, their rekindling of indigenous roots in Texas, their healing practice, and the 10 years of spiritual development sparked from following the teachings of a yogi who resides in the Andes of South America.

This mix of experiences synthesized with Navaji’s dance experience developed a movement methodology, Atma Moves, that is the language of movement through which this ballet is told. Atma Moves is the somatic experience of incarnation; Of being and of becoming.
